Much is made of extremism in current political circles. Much preferred is the fat and happy status quo that continues to give the political elite perpetual time in office, access to wealth and privilege, and insulation from the challenges faced by "regular" Americans. Extremism means rocking a boat that has been at sea many years, and in which resides the liberty of the American people. The Elite are comfortable in their homes inside the Beltway and can't even see the ship dangerously close to foundering on the shoals of tyranny. They enjoy the warmth of bipartisanship and collegiality. Life is good... for them.
What is extremism?
It is an income tax that can be levied without limit on Americans, while invading their privacy and unjustly confiscating all they own.
It is a social security scheme that has never been designed to be actuarilly sound, but is pushed from one generation to the next, knowingly "broke," by politicians who milk it for political rightousness - but create a much more lucrative and sound system for themselves and their federal colleagues.
It is taking the hard-earned money of Americans and giving it away and wasting it on one special interest cause or international booddoggle after another; it is pure thievery.
It is turning culture on its head, ignoring our language, religious philosophy, and traditional values while allowing illegal entry by millions, courting a religious culture that wants to destroy us, and undermining the values and language that give us our strength as a nation.
If we are to survice as a nation, we must accept that what is characterized as "extreme" is that which is merely right. The real extreme is the status quo - and it must forced to surrender.

This is not about the 1st Amendment protecting the free exercize of religion. It has long been recognizd that constitutional rights are neither absolute, nor without responsibilities. Yelling fire in a crowded theater is not allowed, for example. There are thousands of gun laws restricting our 2nd Amendment rights. The rights appurtenant to religion are no different.
This proposal is not about advancing understanding between different cultures, or education, or any other of the propaganda that is being suggested in the name of peace. This is more than even insulting the memory of those who died in the attack by radical Muslims in the name of their hatred for Christians and the West. This is one more battle in a war that is nothing less than the next stage in the Caliphate: world domination by the Muslim culture.
Muslimiism is not a relegion, but a way of life. It's legal, cultural, governing, and economic systems are all interbound. Moreover, it is not based on peaceful coexistence, but on domination and destruction of those who oppose it: the infidels. Wake up America.
This project can and should be stopped. There are tools available to do so which would certainly be used if this was a "religious" center for the advancement of radical right beliefs! The property can be rezoned, a redevelopement zone can be established, or the property can be acquired by eminent domain. Any of these options could be used to limit or prohibit uses not deemed appropriate with the hallowed gound that claimed 3,000 souls.
The failure to act, as Mayor Bloomberg and Barack Obama have wrongly supported, is an abdication of our moral duty, and an outright concession of a quasi-military battle being waged on American soil.

Memorial Day 2010. For as long as I can remember, memorial day brought out the American people, the media - and the President ... to the Tombs of the Unknown(or as it used to be called, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier), at Arlington National Cemetery. Obama will not visit the hallowed institution - he'll send Joe Biden. Instead, Obama will "pay his respects" at the Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elmwood, Illinois. Obama also had to add his personal touch to the day of remembrance for our nation's fallen war dead by proclaiming it, "a national day of prayer for permanent peace."
Obama did not celebrate the traditional National Day of Prayer at the White House.
Obama did host the first LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgendered) Pride Month celebration at the White House.
Obama did declare that we are no longer a Christian nation and did declare that we are one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.
There is something in the arrogance of this president that compels him to thumb his nose at American traditions, and either add to or replace them with those that bear his unique stamp. He declares himself a proud American. But like so many words that emanate from his lips, it is a hollow claim. No, it's all about Barack Obama - and his "transformative" vision of a very different America than has been known for the past 230 years.

Obama and company, along with a complicit congress, are in the process of scrapping the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. This, in itself, a compromise from long standing policy of not permitting homosexuals in the military.
The argument is that homosexuals are willing to serve and have a right to serve. Those in favor ignore any possible conflict by openly homosexual men and women serving. Nothing could be further from the truth. Let's address those issues;
1. Be willing to serve has nothing do with it. One has to be willing, capable AND qualified. There are many physical, mental and emotional conditions which limit service. One can be too tall, too short or too overweight. One can be mentally unstable - even deranged. One can be unable to handle the stress of a combat environment. As Ft. Hood demonstrated, there can be cultural values at odds with military service, though political correctness prefers that we allow the slaughter of innocent servicemen and women rather than impugn someone's values. Homosexuality is not compatible with the norms and nature of those serving in the military. The ability to commit to the mission, which is central to military operations, is compromised when one has an attraction to fellow servicemen/women. That is a very different attitude than the filial love and duty that men and women serving natural feel for their comrades. When you enter the military, the first thing that happens is that you are stripped of your individual identity and you become undifferentiated. Your head is shaved, you are dressed in identical clothing, your living conditions and every movement are dictated by external forces. There is a reason for that. For the same reason, the values shared by all must be largely the same.
2. There is no more right to serve in the military than there is a right to serve in congress or to play football in the NFL. You may serve in congress if you are qualified and elected and comply with the rules. You may play in the NFL if you are big enough, good enough, and get picked. There is no right to an outcome, only to an opportunity. One has the opportunity to serve in the military - and in fact, a duty - if they meet the requirements for service, including values that are compatible with such service. Once again, political correctness has invented a new right based on feelings rather than logic, reason, or constitutional authority.
It is no accident that among so many of those in power, including Members of Congress, federal courts (including the Supreme Court), and national media, fewer and fewer have served in the military they are all committed to changing with their naive and inexperienced thinking.
