Atlas Shrugged in a fictional world that is fast becoming frighteningly factual.  The 111 Congress managed to push through, in a lame duck session, more costly programs with seemingly little battle from the conservatives.  Will the 112th Congress be seduced into the Parliament of Whores or will the Culture Warriors amongst them show Common Sense and Do the Right Thing?  These are just a few of the questions I have with this New Year.

Are the American people truly Mad as Hell and Fed Up with the Culture of Corruption or are we still A Nation of Sheep?  Are our politicians capable of Going Rogue in order To Save America...?  Does the recent Conservative Victory mean we are Getting America Right?  Are we Winning the Future?  We must hold on to our anger and stay Boiling Mad in order to win the battle between Liberty and Tyranny.  Have you learned to not blindly believe the Lies the Government Told You?

Is the Radical-in-Chief able to Give Us Liberty or Guilty of the worst kind of Treason against our Constitution?  Are the Obama Diaries truly a work of fiction?  Are we all having A Slobbering Love Affair... with this administration or is it just the mainstream media?

Do our educators have the courage to teach The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History? i.e.: the facts.  Will history prove that the Decision Points of the previous administration resulted in sound decisions? Are the PC police going to continue to walk on eggshells regarding the Muslim faith or will they embrace The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam?  

Are you as Outraged as I am when the D.C. crowd always seems to look at us when deciding whether to cut or tax something?  Wouldn’t it be nice if they trimmed back their pensions and salaries first?  Who do you know can work four to six years and get their salary and benefits for the rest of their lives?  Who do you know that can give themselves a raise with a bad review?  Politicians are the only ones I can think of.  If the Freshmen of the 112th Congress want to really prove they wish to do what is right for America, they could start by cutting their own stuff before they take aim at us.  Could the 112th Congress be the one to abolish the IRS and bring us a Flat Tax... or, better yet, a fair tax?

Are you as tired as I am of your tax dollars going overseas when there is so much need here?  Will the Churches, once again, be responsible for the poor or continue to get in trouble with the Government when they allow the homeless to come in out of the cold?

Were you aware that the Fed. EPA just took over regulations for Texas, Kansas, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Wyoming, and Oregon?  Notice these are mostly conservative States.  Not Constitutional, but that doesn’t seem to stop anyone.  We must stay as informed as the lobbyists.  They know when the bills come up for voting and send tons of money for their pet projects.  We, however, are struggling just to make ends meet let alone trying to save our country.  While there are good lobbyists (NRA), most cost us. Can we keep up the momentum to stay on top of Congress, the Administration and the lobbyists?  Will we once and for all get Power to the People?  Will Congress impose term limits on themselves?  The Founders never intended for our representatives to make careers of it, nor were they to be paid. We’ve come a long way from the intent of our Constitution.  I pray we survive and remain the proud Republic we were meant to be.

Are we truly Broke or can we get our Government to Leave Us Alone... using Reason, Justice and Common Sense?  These are just a few questions I hope will be answered in the positive this year.  If not, I hope those of us who believe in our Republic go down fighting the good fight.
